Rental Checklist

    • Photograph and send pictures to customer of each room and outdoor space prior to service

    • Report beeping smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

    • Check for and report any personal belongings left by guests

    • Clean and check doors for damage

    • Check locks, report any battery warnings, and close entry doors

    • Dust A/C vents, grids, and fans

    • Test A/C and fans

    • Set thermostat to desired temperature

    • All interior windows checked for damage, cleaned, and locked

    • Check if pest control services are needed

    • Check for stains on carpets, rugs, furniture, and curtains

    • Discard magazines older than 6 months

    • Discard all used paper and plastic items

    • Check unit is staged as requested

    • Check all lights are working

    • Collect laundry for washing and drying

    • Replace fragrance plug-ins

    • Dust top of curtain rods

    • Disinfect door handles, switch plates, and remote controls

    • Dust door frames

    • Clean kick plates and exterior doors

    • Floors (vacuum & mop)

    • Light spot, stain, and print removal

    • Trash removal

    • Clean counters

    • Restock supplied items

    • Dry dust

    • Polish furniture

    • Clean cabinets

    • Clean drawers

    • Tidy shelves, racks, and media centers

    • Dry dusting

    • Wipe dining chairs

    • Check under dining table

    • Clean dining table

    • Clean cabinets

    • Clean and disinfect any child booster seats or highchairs

    • Clean centerpieces

    • Make beds

    • Replace all linens (if supplied)

    • Wipe mirrors

    • Dry dust

    • Polish furniture
